A MESSAGE FROM THE ARTIST
I have always loved nature. Wherever and whenever I am able to go to a place surrounded by trees, flowers, plants, birds, and water, I stop and immerse myself in the beauty of the landscape. So I take long walks and look for a place where the beauty of nature can embrace me. As I quietly sit, I take in the colors of the scenery around me and images fill my mind. So with pencil and paper, or sometimes a camera, I record what I see in my mind as I take in the landscape I find myself in. Colors, shapes, and movements all express the emotions and thoughts nature elicits in me. May you the viewer experience this same exhilarating joy of nature. J.A. |
