Finding Your Inner MozArt Winner

Artist J.A. Tan will be in San Diego, CA at the end of the month to participate in the Mainly Mozart, Mozart and the Mind Gala with Temple Grandin, and other Mozart an the Mind Events, May 30-June 2.

We are happy to share that J.A. Tan’s painting “First Movement” won 2nd place in the “Finding Your Inner MozART” contest, presented by nonprofits The Art of Autism and Mainly Mozart.

J.A. will be in San Diego, CA to participate in the Mainly Mozart Mozart & The Mind gala with Temple Grandin and Derek Paravicini at Allen Airways in El Cajon on May 31st, where the painting will be on display. It will also be part of the programming for Mozart & the Mind events May 30 – June 2 in San Diego.

Acclaimed judges for the visual arts contest, according to the Art of Autism blog, were: Dr. Hugh Davies, Director Emeritus of the San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art, Fine artist Gerrit Greve, and retired book editor, author, poet, and novelist Craig S. Avery. “The judges all expressed what a difficult task it was to judge this contest and were impressed by the depth of the art submitted. J.A.’s painting and all the winners will be displayed at the Mainly Mozart Mozart & The Mind gala with Temple Grandin and Derek Paravicini at Allen Airways in El Cajon on May 31.
